Care instructions
Gold plating is a process where a thin layer of real gold is coated to the surface of another metal, which in our case is either 925 sterling silver, brass or 316L stainless steel (check the product description for the specific information). As it is a thin layer of gold, the plating will slowly tarnish over time and the base metal will be exposed. This is the natural process of any plated item and will not be considered a product defect.
